My career in academia began over 25 years ago, teaching Public Administration, both online and face-to-face, at the graduate and undergraduate levels. My research and teaching focus on public policy, environmental justice, and sustainability.
As someone who began a public service career on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Aide, later working at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, I am able to bring my public service experience and knowledge into the classroom. My passion for teaching, the environment, and public service have enabled me to provide high-quality courses, both online and in-person for over 25 years.
In 1997, I taught my first online course for the newly established, Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, FL. Online learning has come a long way since then. My goal in online teaching is to provide students with a high-quality and engaging learning experience, using the latest technology.
